A few photos of my brother Bob.  He passed in 2012 and is missed every single day. Bob was originally from Memphis, Tn, but lived in Sarasota for the last 24 years of his life. He loved warm weather or rather hated the cold. 60 degrees was long john weather for Bob.

Bob was an artist. He designed and built beautiful and unique homes for 40 years. He was a life long guitar player who never quit searching for new and interesting music to play.

He had a great circle of friends in Florida who loved and looked after him, I will always be grateful to them all.

Elly May adopted Bob many years ago. When I went to Florida to settle his affairs, Elly and I became instant buds. She made the 900 mile journey to Memphis with me and has become a major part of the family.  She does not seem to mind the cold winters.

She spends most days lounging in the back yard and every night on the foot of the bed… until it is time to come up and visit for her morning scratch and purr sessions.  She is my living link to my brother Bob. Elly reminds me everyday we are just her staff and she really runs the show.

Andy…this is soo good. So many great pictures of Bob.
Thank you for honoring his memory in this way so that we can all reflect on the personal experiences that we shared with him.
He was indeed a very special light on earth.
I’m trying to figure out how to post the Bobcat pic to your site and will send as soon as I can.
    Love
    Lu

Thanks Lu, please pass the word to Bob’s friends about my site. I will be adding a lot more content. I have rebuilt my site from scratch the past 2 weeks and still have a lot to add. I am not sure if you ever saw my previous site, but this one is completely new from the ground up.

Please stay in touch. Send me the picture and I will make sure it gets posted.

    Andy

I found the BobKat photo, plus some really old ones of Bob with his Norton after college at the University of Virginia.
